Co-production and testing of prioritised interventions

The aim of this project is to develop, evaluate and implement prioritised interventions to prevent or reduce frailty in community-dwelling older people with frailty, and care home residents.

We have established an Intervention Development Group, including experts in intervention development from Bradford and Leeds.

Older people, carers and health professionals who contributed to the research priority setting exercise will work with this group to co-produce a new intervention. This new intervention will be informed by identified research priorities, and will also build on the findings of a recently-completed meta-analysis of community-based complex interventions to enhance the independence of older people.
