Researching protection against infant RSV bronchiolitis: how well is the maternal RSV vaccine programme working and what can we do better?

Would you like to understand more about protection against RSV bronchiolitis, what’s happening in Bradford, and how research can help protect babies?

The BiB4All and BaBi studies are leading new research into how well the maternal RSV vaccine programme is preventing disease in infants across Yorkshire.

This session will:

  • Explain what RSV is and why it matters for families
  • Explore the new maternal RSV vaccination programme and why it was introduced
  • Share current research from the BiB4All and BaBi studies on how much protection we’re seeing, particularly for higher-risk groups such as premature babies
  • Invite your views on how research can drive change, improve vaccine uptake, and help reduce health inequalities
  • This session is open to clinical staff, women, and families across Yorkshire and beyond.
