Fern Harvey

Knowledge Mobilisation Research Fellow

Knowledge mobilisation Research Fellow in the Academic Unit for Stroke and Ageing at the Bradford Institute for Health Research and the University of Leeds. My role is to develop, lead and evaluate knowledge mobilisation activities to ensure research is translated into practice and policy, improving care and outcomes for older people. Prior to this role I have been undertaking a PhD at Leeds Institute of Health Sciences, exploring the translation of complex interventions into routine care delivery for older people. Focusing on how research impact can be affected by the way it is designed, delivered and disseminated.  Community nurse, working in the Leeds community neighbourhood team since 2022.
