Kirsty Adegboro is on secondment as a Project Coordinator at the Centre for Health Economics at the University of York, providing maternity cover for the Theme Manager for the YH ARC System-level Economic Evaluation Modelling (STEEM) Health Economics Theme. Alongside YH ARC, her responsibilities encompass capability building in global health contexts and data governance.
Kirsty came to this role having worked in the Centre for Health Economics as Global Health Administrator since 2022. Prior to that, she had a career for over 10 years as a freelance indexer while her children were young. She worked with a variety of authors and publishers, including academic, using her degree in French and Arabic to provide back-of-book indexes in subject areas ranging from linguistics and foreign-language literary criticism to the history, art and religions of the Middle East.
