Guest Speaker: Shahid Islam; PPIE Theme Lead & Director for the Centre for Co-production and Peer Research

Co-production has become something of a buzzword and frequently appears in both academic papers and grey literature.  There are some important questions which need answering on what it means and how to deliver it in practice.  In this session Shahid will show how we used the appreciative inquiry method to create a co-production strategy and why it is important to not conflate terms like co-production and patient and public involvement.

Shahid will set out our vision for the development of the Centre for Co-production and Peer Research (CoPPeR) and how our start towards that journey has gone so far.
