Dr Jamilla Hussain is a Palliative Medicine Clinical Academic and Yorkshire and Humber ARC’s Research Inclusion lead. She is also NIHR Advanced Fellow in Palliative Care and leads our ‘care approaching end of life’ work stream within the Health and Care in our Ageing Society theme. Jamilla leads a programme of research on inequalities in advanced illness including an NIHR Advanced Fellowship on addressing racism at the end of life.
