Cat is a Project Coordinator at the Centre for Health Economics at the University of York and Theme Administrator for the YH ARC Health Economics theme. Alongside YH ARC, her responsibilities encompass capability building in global health contexts and data governance.
Cat has worked in research and research-enabling roles across Higher Education and the charity sector in Yorkshire for the last 12 years. Her PhD research at the University of York explored histories of health in Britain in the early nineteenth and twentieth centuries, focusing on shifts in medical and public understanding of physical and mental disabilities. She has experience in research, events management and stakeholder engagement on projects funded by UKRI, Wellcome Trust, City of York Council, and the Joseph Rowntree Trusts.
