Juan Pablo Winter

Dr Juan Pablo Winter is a Knowledge Mobilisation Business Partner at the Humber and North Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (HNY ICB). His role is to create a bridge between the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration Yorkshire and Humber (YH ARC), HNY ICB, academia, service users, and the wider Humber and North Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership to facilitate and promote the use of evidence in the health and care sector in the region.

Over the past 15 years, Juan Pablo has worked in local and national governments, charities, and academia in Chile, South Africa, and the United Kingdom. His career and research, including his PhD, have focused on amplifying the voices of those unjustly marginalised and excluded from society. Before joining the ICB in 2025, his most recent role was as a Hull and East Yorkshire Policy Fellow for the Yorkshire and Humber Policy Engagement and Research Network (Y-PERN).
