Tammy is a registered Children’s Nurse and knowledge mobilisation specialist working across the Yorkshire & Humber ARC and the Improvement Academy. She helps health and social care partners access, interpret and apply research and evidence, turning knowledge into practice that genuinely reflects local need.
Skilled in facilitation, programme design and strategic workforce development, Tammy connects people and services to build capability, embed learning and create sustainable, practice and service driven change. Within her role with the Improvement Academy, she brings a combination of strong leadership, system-wide thinking and the ability to make complex information accessible to diverse audiences.
Tammy leads the national Enhanced Paediatric Nursing Skills (EPNS) programme and serves as project lead for Enhancing Paediatric Integrated Community Care (EPiCC), shaping through evidence, coordinated, integrated care across hospital and community settings. While her registration sits within paediatrics, her impact reaches further, driving safer care, stronger services and healthier communities across the system.
