There is growing emphasis on the importance of engaging health and social care staff in applied health research. But evidence of the actual benefits for individuals -compared with organisations- is scarce. This session will walk through the findings of a scoping review by the Improvement Science team designed to uncover the different ways of engaging staff and of the associated benefits. The session will feature reflections by Will Lea- an acute medicine doctor doing a PhD- on his experience too.

Guest Speakers:
Andria Hanbury
– YH ARC Improvement Science Theme Manager
Will Lea – Acute Medicine Doctor
