Join us for the final session in the JU:MP Webinar Series. This webinar will explore the journey of JU:MP to engage, train and support female and ethnically diverse leaders in Bradford, to tackle inequalities in physical activity.
Only 6% of South Asian girls in our place were active enough, so developing role models and leaders they could relate to was critical. We will share our learning on youth physical activity leadership which began with the JU:MP Leads initiative and has led to our current work developing the Leaders Like Us toolkit. We will share the Leaders Like Us toolkit which has been co-designed with young people and practitioners from the local community. It aims to support the development and delivery of more accessible leadership programmes for young women and gender-diverse young people from underserved communities.
Interactive Workshop
Following the webinar, a small interactive workshop will be available for up to 20 participants. This session offers a supportive space to explore the topic in more depth, reflect on learning, and connect with partners across physical activity and public health.
Please note: Attendance at the webinar is not required to take part in the workshop.
Places are limited and early booking is recommended. If the session is sold out, please add your name to the waiting list, as an additional workshop may be made available.
