In this Lunch & Learn, our guest speaker will review the historical and current literature on gestational diabetes, how NICE guidance fits into this and why a multi specialty/agency approach is needed to tackle public health issue which is having a substantial and multi generational impact on the population of Bradford.

Guest Speaker: Penny Beddoes Anaesthetic ST6, Chief Registrar Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust

Penny is an anaesthetic trainee in West Yorkshire with an interest in obstetric anaesthesia, women’s health and enhanced maternal care. She is currently working as the Chief registrar at Bradford, a part time non-clinical leadership, management and quality improvement position.
