This multidisciplinary study day will bring together healthcare professionals from maternity, maternal medicine, critical care and pre-hospital services to strengthen knowledge, collaboration and patient care for critically unwell pregnant and recently pregnant women.
Led by the Yorkshire and Humber Maternal Enhanced and Critical Care (MEaCC) and Maternal Medicine Network (MMN) teams, and supported by the Improvement Academy, Bradford Institute for Health Research (BIHR) and the NIHR Yorkshire and Humber Applied Research Collaboration (ARC), the event will focus on evidence-based approaches to recognising, stabilising and safely transferring women experiencing acute complications during pregnancy and the postnatal period.
Strategically aligned with the implementation of the NHS England Maternal Care Bundle, the conference will support a coordinated approach to embedding best practice and improving outcomes for women and families across the region.

The programme will also feature a lived experience perspective, opportunities for discussion and networking, and practical insights to support the implementation of the Maternal Care Bundle, improve the quality and consistency of care, and help reduce inequalities in maternal health across Yorkshire and the Humber
