About you

We are looking for someone who is passionate about addressing inequalities and committed to high-quality, inclusive research. You will bring strong project management and communication skills, be confident working with a wide range of stakeholders, and be able to translate inclusive principles into practical action. You will be comfortable working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Applicants may come from a range of backgrounds, including research delivery, public involvement, engagement, EDI, or improvement roles.

Main duties of the job

Due to current Home Office Guidelines, Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is unable to provide sponsorship for this role.

Do you want to help ensure health and care research reflects, involves and benefits everyone in our communities?

The Yorkshire and Humber Applied Research Collaboration (YHARC) is seeking a Research Inclusion Manager to play a central role in embedding inclusive research practices across a major regional research programme. Over the next 5 years, the NIHR-funded YHARC will be working to improve outcomes and reduce inequalities through applied health and care research across Yorkshire and Humber.

About the role

As Research Inclusion Manager, you will work as part of YHARC’s supportive and collaborative core team, contributing to the delivery of our ambition to embed research inclusion across the full life-cycle of our studies. Working under the direction of the Research Inclusion Lead, you will support research teams to design and deliver studies that are inclusive and deliver impact for diverse communities.

The role is varied and impactful, combining strategic development with hands-on delivery. You will work closely with researchers, partners and community organisations, help develop and share practical resources and learning, and support evaluation of research inclusion approaches across the programme.
