Dr Clara Mukuria is a member of the YH ARC Health Economics, Evaluation and Equality (HEEE) Theme and Senior Research Fellow in the Division of Population Health at the University of Sheffield.
“I’ve interests in the development and testing of generic and condition-specific preference-based measures for assessing health and wellbeing in diverse populations as well as generating preferences using different approaches (valuation techniques and mapping) and in different populations including children.
I’m a member of the EuroQol Research Foundation where I am the Chair of the Working Group responsible for the EQ Health and Wellbeing (EQ-HWB), a new outcome measure designed to assess quality of life related to health and social care including their impact on informal carers. I am also a member of EEPRU (Policy Research Unit in Economic Methods of Evaluation in Health and Social Care) working on issues related to measuring and valuing health”.
