The Shaping Family Wellbeing group is a new community advisory group of 23 parents and carers of children aged under 3, set up in November 2023. The group meets in Hull and so far meetups have included identifying priorities and voting on which to take forward as community-driven research projects, designing inclusive research involving young families, engaging in two-way discussions with midwives, and holding a family picnic to celebrate the group so far!

At this talk, Charlotte and Katy (parent co-chairs of the group) and Kate (University of York researcher) will talk about their experiences of setting up the group, achievements and challenges so far, and what comes next.
