Making Sure Our Research Is Used

Turning findings into action through knowledge mobilisation, implementation support and our Yorkshire & Humber Evidence Hub.

At NIHR ARC Yorkshire and Humber, we’re transforming how research evidence reaches those who need it most. Our Impact Team works together to bridge the gap between research discovery and real-world impact, ensuring that innovative health and care research directly benefits patients and communities across our region. Read about our approach below that combines proven theory with practical hands-on support.

Everything this process generates; evidence, tools, case studies and solutions live in our Yorkshire & Humber Evidence Hub, so system partners, clinicians and commissioners can find and act on evidence when they need it.

Implementation Training

Implementation is increasingly being put at the forefront of research funding requirements. It can be pretty confusing and stressful when you have a short amount of time to put together an implementation research proposal, particularly when you have little implementation science experience. Hundreds of theories, models and frameworks, thousands of published papers, and a lack of practical and accessible guidance can add to this confusion.
